Mini Bijou Language Summary: January to March 2026 (11 weeks)

This is a guide only: plenty of other language will be used during the lessons,  and in the songs, the activity sheets, and the suggestions for further learning.

Topic 1: Dinosaurs - descriptions

Le dinosaure est… (the dinosaur is…) 

petit (small)   grand (big)    énorme (enormous)   gentil (kind)   féroce (fierce)

vert (green)    bleu (blue)   jaune (yellow)   blanc (white)   rouge (red), etc

We will also be meeting some fruit and veg vocabulary in our book about a special dinosaur! 

Topic 2: Easter 

(a)   Nouns : masculine or feminine 

We will be learning about masculine feminine nouns in French, using some Easter vocabulary
